Book your Maiolica Experience
Step inside a traditional Florentine ceramic studio and experience the beauty of Tuscan craftsmanship as you paint your own maiolica plate using authentic, time honored designs. In this small, intimate group setting, you'll be guided step by step by a Master Ceramist- no prior experience needed. This is a calm hands on experience designed for anyone who wants to slow down, get creative, and take home a truly personal souvenir from Florence.
During the workshop you'll be introduced to the history of Tuscan maiolica, choose from a selection of traditional patterns, and enjoy a guided painting session in an authentic studio environment. At the end you will have a unique piece that reflects both local tradition and your own touch.
Plate will be professionally glazed and fired.

Weekly Ceramics Courses
My ceramics courses are more then just a place to learn pottery- they are an opportunity to slow down, work with your hands, and become part of a creative community in Florence.
Located near Piazza Beccaria, the studio welcomes locals, international students, and expats looking for an authentic artistic experience in a relaxed environment. Whether you are completely new to ceramics or already have experience, the courses are personalized and designed to help you develop your creativity at your own pace while sharing the space with like-minded people.
Many students join not only to learn traditional ceramic techniques, but also to meet new people, practice Italian and build meaningful connections through creativity. The studio atmosphere is informal, welcoming, and centered around craftsmanship, conversation, and community.
Courses are hand-building amongst other traditional techniques. I offer flexible memberships for both short term and long term students.

Cari amici di Officina eccoci al quinto appuntamento con Solo Exhibition : la mostra personale virtuale che vuole farvi conoscere alcuni dei creativi del nostro atelier.
Abbiamo iniziato l'anno nuovo con un intervista all'artista che si firma Mire'. Siamo molto fieri di questa intervista perché si tratta di una delle storiche creative che frequentano il nostro laboratorio. Mire' vanta una grandissima produzione ceramica. Siamo rimasti stupiti quando lei ci ha accolto a casa sua e aperto la dispensa dove conserva con cura tanti dei manufatti creati nel arco degli anni mentre molti altri sono stati regalati ad amici o donati in beneficenza. Piatti di tutte le dimensioni e forme ispirati liberamente ai grandi artisti della storia uscivano e riempivano lo spazio circostante creando una visione unica e piena di colori. Tutti i piatti sono stati eseguiti con la tecnica della majolica e soprattutto con grande entusiasmo. Mire' ha nominato Sabrina per il mese di febbraio.
